Way "Franz", de la Mesules Biesces

Thursday with Paul there we are moved in the charming Val Gardena another way to deal with Ivo Rabanser. This is the way "Franz" on mesules de la Bisces, a compact wall facing north-west. The way to difficulties similar to those of " The Fountain of Oblivion ", after an initial extent that it exceeds the rock cliffs of yellowish, blackish moves on a plate, where the rock is very compact and solid, though at times covered with a kind lichen.

I was not absolutely in the day, unfortunately. The yellow cliffs then I'm not sure the ground where I move better. Aided by a number of factors at times I felt embarrassed and I could not enjoy the way as I wanted. Nevertheless it was a beautiful day, and certainly a lesson for the future. Paul, as always, safe and quiet even on the sections for me the most difficult and poorly protected. Some photos:

FOUNTAIN OF OBLIVION

In the company of Max and Paul (el Squeri), yesterday I experienced a wonderful way Michelazzi Stefano, Ivo Rabanser and Stefan Comploi, on the west wall of the Altarpiece of the Ice. The top part of the so-called "Cliffs of Larsec" subgroup of the rose garden that is in part easternmost. It is a very high but not top of the forms very attractive in the eyes of the mountaineer-climber.

The narrow summit ridge, located in North-South direction, falls steeply with two vertical walls in the east and west sides. Propio the west wall was the last to be "resolved" (around 1980 for the work of the strong Tita Weiss).

In an area where the rock is quite friable, the western wall of the Pala Freeze offers a rock instead of texture and beauty that has little to envy to the most famous walls of the Dolomites.
Thanks to the skill of Paul, a talented and experienced climber, we faced the street called "Fountain of oblivion." 300 m, difficulty in climbing to the seventh + free. As a way of climbing the mold is quite riveting "poor" requires a good use of movable guards.

For me it was a fantastic day. My first route of the sixth grade, made possible by Paul that if it is pulled from first to last the entire metro.
Given my constant praise Larsec, with its gorges and explored its peaks and deserted, I was unanimously elected as the "guardian of Larsec :-)

To cheer the night the famous soprano Francesca Scaife, Camino also.
